Nona G.

Breeder of Shichons

Meet the breeder

I'm Nona G., the breeder behind Nona's Shichons located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Our Shichon puppies are raised with love in a family setting and bred with a strong focus on health, temperament, and socialization. We prioritize well-balanced, affectionate companions that adapt easily to family life. Our dogs receive proper care, attention, and early social exposure to ensure they grow into happy, confident pets. We are committed to responsible breeding and placing our puppies in caring, forever homes.

Q. & A. with Nona

  • Why did you start breeding?

This is our first and only breeding experience. We decided to have one litter from our dog because we wanted to keep a puppy from her. She gave birth to six healthy puppies. We are keeping one, two have already been reserved by close friends, and the remaining puppies are being placed with loving families. This was a one-time decision made with care, and we are focused on responsibly raising and placing these puppies in great homes.
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program is small and family-focused. Puppies are raised in a home environment, socialized from an early age, and given individual attention. I prioritize health, temperament, and proper care, and I work closely with veterinarians to ensure the wellbeing of my dogs. My goal is not just to place puppies, but to match each puppy with the right family and provide ongoing support even after they go home.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brown, cream, and brown and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
