I'm Darla L., the breeder behind Nordic Sky- Standard Schnauzers located in Medina, OH. We breed carefully screened and selected, salt and pepper, standard schnauzers with Champion blood lines. They are bred for conformation and temperament. They are raised in our home and stimulated from birth to foster their intellectual development.
Q. & A. with Darla
Why did you start breeding?
We love standard schnauzers and recognize what an amazing companion this breed is. When our first SS became a champion, we knew we wanted another one, so we had a litter. We ended up keeping 3! They are amazing and we love welcoming each new litter.
What makes your program special?
We breed Champion blood line Standards with excellent temperament. We are a small breeder that averages one litter per year. We spend a lot of time socializing with these pups and introducing them to new experiences.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are pepper and salt. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
