I'm Danielle K., the breeder behind Nordic Woof's Golden Retrievers located in Peoria, AZ. I strive to produce healthy, sound, structurally balanced dogs with meaning and purpose. I breed OFA and DNA tested dogs. I have been competing in dog shows, sports and training since 1997. Owner of Awesome Pawz LLC., Service dogs and Mobile grooming. I am an AKC Judge for ATT, FETCH, CGC evaluator and student in AKC Canines college to become a multi breed judge. I really am here with you, for the life of your dog.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    When I started to show dogs in AKC conformation dog shows.

  • What makes your program special?

    I now breed Golden Retrievers exclusively with the purpose of working service dogs. I own and operate Awesome Pawz LLC. Service dogs and Mobile dog grooming. Puppies are raised with an advanced version of ENS/ESI and Temperament tested by myself & an outside trainer at 6 weeks and 8 weeks. I provide Raw unedited video of all temperament testing for buyers to access and review.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Danielle

Danielle has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Danielle partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“We take great care in placing each puppy, our breeding program is structured around producing service dog and therapy dog prospect puppies. We evaluate our litter at 6 weeks old and can make very experienced matches to our waiting families. As cute as every puppy is, they all also have slightly different personalities and some have better strengths then others in some areas, such as strong scent work prospects. Our temperment evaluation is also a service dog evaluation, which includes scent work tests, trainability test, headless focus testing, sound and startle testing, tactical testing and more. We have been breeding, training and raising scussful service dogs for clients for more then 10 years, and have over 30 years experience breeding and showing dogs in conformation and various sports. Our first priority is to help pair each family and family lifestyle with the right puppy for thr most scussful life. Please let us know what you are looking for, what do you want to achieve with your puppy. If you are needing a service dog, please let me know what tasks you hope the dog can learn and what your daily lifestyle looks like. This helps me better find that puppy in the litter over the next sevral weeks and ultimately during the 6 week test evaluation. There are always "pet" puppies in every litter who, are remarkable as simple happy family companions and need quality homes. If your only looking for a pet, let me know that too, because not all of our babies will fit the strict requirements to become a "prospect" working dog. ”

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

    I got a male golden retriever puppy from Danielle November 2025. The pup was 8 weeks old. The whole process went very well. I selected a pup a few weeks before delivery and, she kept me informed with text messages and videos about how the pup was doing. She brought the pup to me in Tucson, AZ. That was very helpful. The pup was seen by a veterinarian and given vaccines along with an exam before I got the pup. Overall, I think Danielle has the experience to select for quality breeding stock and follow professional puppy breeding protocols. I would buy another pup from her.
