I'm Noriko H., the breeder behind Noriko Poodles located in Nort, CA. My goal is to produce healthy, sound, and beautiful poodles with lovely temperaments, all to the breed standard.
Q. & A. with Noriko
Why did you start breeding?
I met my first Standard Poodle when I was in 6th grade and was so taken with their intelligence, beauty, and loving nature. I not only set out to own one someday, but also to achieve the art of grooming such a lovely breed. I started my journey by first working at a large zoo in Japan where I met a groomer who offered to teach me. I am now a certified IPG and CAH groomer, operating my own grooming salon.
What makes your program special?
My puppies are raised inside of my home, getting lots of attention and love. They'll enjoy lots of fun experiences in a safe yard and be around the adult dogs too. I do temperament testing at 7 weeks old, for best placement, and will always be available to those who have one of my puppies.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
