I'm the breeder behind North Cedar Danes located in Lebanon, VA. We strive to produce the best overall pet and family members. We focus on health, temperament and conformation. Our focus is on producing healthy, well-tempered companions who thrive as family pets. Our dogs live in our home and are loved like family. We prioritize health and early socialization to ensure confident, happy puppies. We’re here to support each family for the lifetime of their pup.

Why did you start breeding?
My journey into breeding began with a deep love for Great Danes and a desire to share their incredible companionship with others. What started as a passion quickly became a purpose—to raise healthy, well-tempered Danes who thrive as family members.What makes your program special?
We are passionate about the genetics and development of Great Danes, constantly expanding our knowledge of the breed. Each puppy begins Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) at just 3 days old, followed by noise desensitization starting at 2 weeks, helping to lay the foundation for confident, well-adjusted companions.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Shena & Jayden has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $300 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
