Meet the breeder

I'm Debbie T., the breeder behind North Idaho Miniature Aussiedoodles located in Post Falls, ID. At NIMA, our puppies are family. We focus on health, happiness, and strong foundations with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), litter box training, and sound desensitization. Raised with love, our puppies grow into confident, loving companions who bring joy to their forever families. 🐾.

Q. & A. with Debbie

  • Why did you start breeding?

After my divorce, I brought home my first Miniature Australian Shepherd, RuBee — and she truly changed my life. The bond we built showed me the depth of connection these dogs can bring to a family. That experience led me to begin breeding intentionally, preserving the intelligence, loyalty, and companionship that first drew me in — and sharing that kind of connection with others.
  • What makes your program special?

At NIMA, puppies are raised inside my home — surrounded by everyday life. Through early neurological stimulation and structured socialization, I focus on building confidence, emotional steadiness, and strong human connection. My goal isn’t just beautiful puppies, but well-adjusted companions who transition smoothly and bring lasting joy to their families with plenty of snuggles along the way.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brown and white, blue merle, red merle, black tri-color, red phantom, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Debbie

Debbie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Debbie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Puppies are matched with approved families based on temperament, lifestyle, and overall fit—not just color or markings. As applications are reviewed and approved, I take time to get to know each family, including their home environment, activity level, and what they’re looking for in a companion. This allows me to make thoughtful recommendations once the puppies’ personalities begin to develop. Selections are typically made in order of deposit, with guidance provided to help ensure the best long-term match for both the puppy and the family. My goal is for each puppy to be placed in a home where they will truly thrive.”
