I'm Terhya N., the breeder behind North Ridge Doodles located in Strathcona , MN. At North Ridge Doodles we raise Aussiedoodle puppies that are highly trainable, healthy, and did I mention adorable?! All of our puppies are raised right in our home making them well socialized and begging for human attention by the time they are ready to go to their "fur-ever" homes.

Why did you start breeding?
I worked for a good friend, also my mentor for a little over a year. I then purchased my first dogs and continued to work for her between litters. This helped me feel so much more prepared.What makes your program special?
We do not have any children, and my husband has a great job allowing me to stay home with the dogs 24/7. I get to be with them day in and day out making it so I really know my puppies. This helps me find the perfect puppy for each of my customers. Also living in the country our breeding dogs get to live life out of kennels and really get to enjoy being part of the family.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Australian Shepherd Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Animal Genetics Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
