Q. & A. with Katharine
Why did you start breeding?
We started as Australian Labradoodle lovers. For our second ALD, we became a guardian family. Our whole family fell in love with the breeding process we saw in our mentor, Carol Lindley, the breeder behind the original Nutmeg Labradoodles, who raised her puppies with such thoughtfulness, care, and devotion. We wanted to share our love for these dogs and this breed in the same way.
What makes your program special?
Our puppies are hand-reared in our home, receiving kisses on their tiny heads from the moment they are born. We are a small program, typically offering only 4-5 litters per year so that we can be highly focused on temperament matching for our puppy families. We are so grateful that our puppy families come to us looking for the right dog for their life stage, activity, and experience level.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include caramel, caramel red, red, apricot, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Skipper, mom
Australian Labradoodle
About Skipper
Skipper is an absolutely stunning girl with a delightful personality. She adores her guardian family and her older dog brother, Sailor. She is a devoted mom who showers her puppies with affection.
She loves to play in the backyard and curl up next to her human family, often "helping" her human siblings with their homework while her head is in their laps.
Finely, dad
Australian Labradoodle
About Finely
Finley is our fantastic new stud. We were looking for the perfect combination of beautiful temperament, gorgeous structure, and affectionate, intelligent, and playful personality. While we had plans to place him in a guardian home, our whole family adored him so much from day one that he just stayed in our home.
Finley is "the fun dad" with the puppies, teaching them how to play and chase in our yard. He also loves his agility training classes and has the athleticism to make the most of them.
