Meet the breeder

I'm Rob N., the breeder behind Nyzen Farms located in Hiram, OH. Our Siberian Huskies are part of the family and raised in our home and on our farm. We ensure they are socialized with other dogs, children, and even other animals on the farm. Our dogs each have very unique personalities and love being around people.

Q. & A. with Rob

  • Why did you start breeding?

As our children have grown, they have been more and more interested in raising Siberian Huskies. We purchased our two girls with the idea that breeding dogs could be a good extension of the farm and enable the kids to raise the puppies they love along with trying to train them to pull sleds in the winter.
  • What makes your program special?

We are focused solely on registered Siberian Huskies. We only have two girls and they live in our house. This focus helps to raise very loving dogs who want to be your companion. We also have one wooly and one standard, this enables us breed for different coats and colors with very unique markings.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and white and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
