I'm Taylor M., the breeder behind Oak River Goldens' located in Tenino, WA. We hold ourselves to high standards for the integrity of our program. All of our puppies are socialized, nurtured, and loved! As breeders, we are very selective in our breeding decisions. We prioritize maintaining a manageable breeding program to allow individual socialization of each puppy.

Taylor has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Litter update on 31 July •…Pups had their vet exam yesterday, everyone is healthy! 🥰 Our biggest pup is Scuba (green collar) at 7.7lbs, and the smallest is Summer (pink collar) at 5.2lbs 😀 Microchips & Distemper/parvo shot was done yesterday as well, next vaccine is due between 8/21 - 8/28. If you haven't ordered food & supplements, nows the time. Go home is coming up quick!

Litter update on 25 July •…Heads up to everyone picking up this weekend - Tenino is having their Oregon Trail Days celebration. It's at the city park & will have lots of vendors, food, entertainment, etc. The farmers market will also be going on across the street from the park. There will be way more traffic than usual. It's going to be a fun weekend in town though, so stick around and explore a bit.. Just dont let your puppy walk around in public or greet other pets until they're fully vacinated 😁

Currently working on basic obedience and socialization. Porter comes from fantastic bloodlines! We are thrilled to watch this boy mature. Estimated adult weight between 65 - 70lbs. As of August 2025, he was 59 lbs. 09/2024- Porter passed all genetic tests. 05/2025- Porter passed both OFA cardiac and OFA eye testing. 01/2026- OFA prelim hip / elbow & OFA thyroid to be done. 07/2026- OFA final hip / elbow to be done.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Ichthyosis, Golden Retriever Type
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
