I'm Sheri and Jennifer L., the breeder behind Ocean View Labradoodles located in Brookings, OR. Ocean View Labradoodles breeds miniature, multigenerational Australian labradoodles in the town of Brookings, located on the beautiful southern Oregon coast.
Q. & A. with Sheri and Jennifer
Why did you start breeding?
Jennifer started Ocean View Labradoodles in 2010 with me as her helper. In July 2009, Kiah, her Australian Shepherd, was killed and the opportunity to adopt a miniature Labradoodle named Daphne came along. Needless to say, we all fell in love with the little bundle of joy that helped her get through the loss of her best friend Kiah. When Jennifer had the opportunity to teach 4th grade in Alaska I stepped up to keep things going in her absence. She's back now and we enjoy it all together again.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding dogs are all tested to the Golden Paw level standard of the ALAA to ensure healthy parents. All of our breeding dogs will be retired by the age of 6, so the majority of their life is spent as a beloved family companion.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
