I'm Shantell B., the breeder behind OhanaCorgis LLC located in Lebanon, MO. All dogs are a member of my family, and I ensure they are socialized, healthy, and prepared to excel in their forever homes. All of my adults are health tested for Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), Von Willebrand's Disease type 1 (VWD1), and Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC). All of my dogs are AKC registered.
Q. & A. with Shantell
Why did you start breeding?
I just love the breed. I enjoy having several potato's running around and giving them the love and care they need. I received my first Corgi at 16 years old, and have been in love with the breed since then. It is a blessing to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've gotten in raising these wonderful potatoes.
What makes your program special?
Health testing and training is the most important thing to me when breeding. I strive to breed healthy, quality pups that can fit any lifestyle. I take pride in raising well-tempered, and socialized puppies who can excel in work, show, or as beloved companions.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
