I'm Audrey B., the breeder behind O-Joy Pembroke Welsh Corgis located in Idaho Falls, ID. We breed AKC registered, health-tested Pembroke Welsh Corgis raised surrounded by family in our family home. We live on a small farm in Idaho. Our puppies will be raised around cats, other dogs, chickens, horses, pigs, and goats. They will also be handled by our two boys, ages 8 and 5. We look forward to connecting you with one of our wonderful puppies!
Q. & A. with Audrey
Why did you start breeding?
We adore this breed and starting a breeding program felt like the right decision. We value responsible breeding practices and want to do our part to promote ethical breeding so that Corgis will continue to thrive for many generations.
What makes your program special?
We have studied a lot about early puppy development and socialization. We have loved the points and methods discussed in Puppy Culture and plan on adhering to their training methods and schedule. Our puppies will not be ready to venture off to their new homes until after 10 weeks old. We feel that this gives them enough time with us, their mother, and their littermates to learn many life lessons and become mature enough to face the change of environment and family.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
