I'm LaRae C., the breeder behind Okie’s Cuties located in Idabel, OK. Cross's Okie Cuties are just too cute! Yet Okie’s main goal is to offer the best quality, healthy fur-babies I can.
Q. & A. with LaRae
Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved dogs, big or small.
I have a desire to train and handle dogs.
My love of Poodles began with an AKC black Miniature Poodle. A very good friend, who raised tiny Toys, mentored and helped me get my start. After our first Poodle, I was hooked.
I fell for Pomeranians after receiving a Parti Pomeranian female as a gift. Then I was given 2 more females. After researching and testing, It was just logical to have a male.
What makes your program special?
My goal is to maintain quality breed standards and offer the healthiest fur-babies I can. Each adult is tested for genetic health issues by PawPrints Genetic labs, before ever being bred. My fur-babies are NOT kept in cages. They stay in my home (usually on my couch or bed). They run and play outside in a fenced in yard daily.
I require an application/questionnaire to be completed in addition to Good Dog requirements.
• I do not deal with minors.
• I prefer not to place with families with infants, toddlers or preschool children.
• I prefer not to rehome to college/trade school students.
• Each and every applicant is screened. Veterinarian references are checked .
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
