I'm Joanna H., the breeder behind OlliePups, LLC located in Boiling Springs, SC. Each of our dogs has brought so much happiness to us throughout their lives! We want to do our part to produce wonderful, healthy dogs that can bring other people joy as well, and we strive to give our puppies a voice through temperament testing to help them find their perfect family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Joanna and Mandie are both dog lovers and wanted to find a way to integrate dogs into both of their chosen fields. They both believe that health, temperament, and raising puppies on a curriculum is of the upmost importance.

  • What makes your program special?

    Breeding and loving dogs is not for the faint of heart but we're up for the challenge! Hard decisions must be made, seemingly perfect dogs will have to be removed from the program at times, but at the end of the day we will honor our dogs and their needs. We promise to do the best that we know how and to love our dogs and their puppies unconditionally. Please visit our website for more info!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Bernedoodle puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Bernese Mountain Dog puppies are tri-color. Bernedoodle puppies include brown, red, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Joanna

Joanna has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Joanna partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“Picks take place between weeks 6-7 in order of reservation fee. This is following a temperament evaluation and complete vet check.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,495 - $5,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We have a level system for pricing that includes the amount of vet care, grooming, and training a puppy receives before going to their forever home. This is a non-refundable reservation/administrative fee once pregnancy has been confirmed via ultrasound. While this fee is non-refundable it is transferrable to other litters (including future litters).”

Joanna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
