Meet the breeder

I'm Muriel S., the breeder behind Only Doodles! located in Galt, MO. We began breeding Labradors years ago and then breeding Labradoodles. Our dogs are our pets and we have generations in our home! We are just a nice family who happens to raise very, very nice puppies! We have, over the years, strived and succeeded in producing beautiful puppies that are smart, exceptionally trainable, and of superior health. Our ongoing support is unrivaled, and our puppy families become our friends!

Q. & A. with Muriel

  • Why did you start breeding?

We began years ago breeding Labrador Retrievers and then met our first Labradoodle. We fell in love and now strictly work with Doodles only! The quality of our puppies reflects the conscious decisions we make throughout every part of the breeding process.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a working therapy. Brion is a disabled Gulf War Veteran and eats, sleeps, and breathes puppies and dogs. Our youngest son, Garrett, is autistic. The puppies and dogs give Brion daily purpose and Garrett has, over time, become able to touch, pet, and love on the puppies and dogs. What we thought he would never be able to do has become reality!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include mini and medium sizes. Goldendoodle puppies are medium size. Labradoodle puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include sable, tri-color, phantom, and merle. Goldendoodle puppies include red and parti. Labradoodle puppies include caramel and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
