I'm Tarissa G., the breeder behind Oodles & Doodles located in Jackson, CA. We are a family boutique breeder that want to make all your Doodle dreams come true. We specialize in child friendly puppies that are started from day one with our kids. Each puppy is handled extensively by our kids and socialized well in our home with us! not in a kennel. We truly strive for a well rounded dog that has good genetics as well as a laid back family dog nature. Health and temperament is a big deal to us and should be for perspective new families. We welcome home visits and want you to see where your new baby is raised in person. We stand behind our puppies and offer a 1 year Health Guarantee. Every puppy we have goes thought a thorough vet examination his/her first shot as well as having been dewormed at 2,4,6,8 weeks. We love our dogs and we think it shows in our breeding program as well as through the happy families who have adopted our babies. Now let’s make all YOUR DOODLE dreams come true!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My husbands mom had bred German shepherds when he was young and he loved being apart of it so we decided to give it a go. 10 years later here we are after learning a lot and educating ourselves to better our breeding practices and ways to raise amazing puppies. We really find joy in our program and find it to be a good teaching tool for our kids on how to properly care for animals.

  • What makes your program special?

    I think there are a lot of awesome and amazing breeders out there who have great programs. I also think our at home family raised approach is special and cannot always be replicated by all breeders. Puppies socialized with kids and noises of a family house gives them a great head start to there new home. We stand behind our dogs and love to place our puppies in quality loving homes.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Maltipoo puppies include cream and champagne. Cavapoo puppies include tri-color, red, black, black and tan, and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Tarissa

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Tarissa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $1,900 - $2,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Dealing with Tarissa when purchasing our puppy, Beau, was an excellent experience from initial contact to puppy delivery and afterward. She was available for questions and stayed in contact through our waiting time by sending along photos and videos of Beau's progress. Our puppy was raised in a family environment and has been easily transitioned to living with us in our home. He came to us crate trained and has been a perfect angel from the first night . He had received his first puppy shots and a vet certificate which was helpful for our veterinarian. Tarissa has contacted us since we have had Beau home. We were hesitant about purchasing a dog through the internet, but our experience with Beau has been very positive.

    Tarissa was a great breeder to work with. She kept me well informed and sent me photos every week and even a video. My puppy was very healthy and happy when I picked him up. On the second day, he did tend to have a little tummy upset and I called my vet, but they said just to give him some Karo syrup and water. Well that did the trick because my 11-year-old grandson came to visit me that evening and the puppy perked right up. He’s back to normal today. I could not have found a better breeder. And I love that she was within driving distance from Reno so I could visit before I actually picked up the puppy. For those who are not close to California, it’s worth the drive to come pick up your puppy from Tarissa. And Good dog was great to help me find my little Jackson. I love him so much. ❤️

    We recently lost one of our dogs and my 8 year old daughter has been very sad about this loss. While driving up to Monterey from San Diego my wife and I made the decision to get a puppy for her for her birthday. We did a little bit of research to find the breed we wanted then it was a simple search on GoodDog to find breeders. We saw Charlie on Disney Doodles and I reached out to Tarissa. She was very helpful answering questions and accommodating when arranging a pickup time knowing we were from out of town. I drove from Monterey to Tracy, CA to meet Tarissa and pick up Charlie. She messaged me once she was there what car she was driving and where they were parked and once I arrived I got out and met Tarissa and her husband. They gave me food, a blanket and a toy and a contract/medical history for charlie. It was a simple and professional transaction and overall an extremely positive experience. I got Charlie and drove back to Monterey to surprise my daughter. She was so happy and excited for her new best friend. It has been a few days since we got Charlie and are now back home, they are so attached already, charlie cries when she goes to school and sleeps on top of her every night. Thank you Tarissa and family for such a great puppy and happy memory of surprising my daughter.
