I'm Amber S., the breeder behind Oodles of Doodles located in New Bern, NC. We use Puppy Culture and the Badass Breeder programs. They are constantly being prepared for their future lives. We focus more on temperament and personality to ensure every dog finds the perfect home for them. Our families pick their dog on the 7th week since we temperament test.
Q. & A. with Amber
Why did you start breeding?
We knew we wanted to breed our Male and it took us a while to find our perfect mate for him. We researched everything we could in the meantime. We are constantly researching and adding to our program. Our goal is to help you find the dog that can grow and learn in your family. We are constantly desensitizing them. This ensures that they are not afraid. They will know that the world is safe!
What makes your program special?
We give each of our puppies the one on one love and attention they need. We begin potty training young. Many of our puppies are well suited for therapy or service dog training. They are learning simple commands and that the world is safe and people are kind! We match puppies to their families based on their temperament rather then color and gender. This helps to find the best fit for the puppy.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, black, phantom, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Good level
Oodles of Doodles reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Goldendoodles.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
