Meet the breeder

I'm Misty M., the breeder behind Oodles of Floofy Doodles located in Spanish Fork, UT. Our puppies come from healthy, intelligent, trainable, beautiful, well-tempered parents. Our goal is to create puppies that are perfect companions and match them to their perfect forever homes. I am committed to being with my puppy families every step of the way. I offer a lifetime of support to my families, I will always help in any way I can!

Q. & A. with Misty

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was working with a dog trainer and volunteering for a veterinary clinic. I soon realized through my experiences with those organizations that too many people were buying dog breeds they knew nothing about, and many people were struggling to train those dogs. As a result, too many were being re-homed or left at shelters. It really got me thinking about the need for breeds that were easy for first-time pet owners as well as experienced dog families. I have done a lot of research over the years trying to find a breed that could fit easily into most people's lives, a dog for all kinds of families even beginners. That research led me to the mini/petite Goldendoodle. The Golden Retrievers are known to be friendly and easy to train. Poodles are very smart, come in a variety of sizes, and they don’t shed. Mixing the breed you can greatly reduce shedding, reduce the size of the dog to something easier for people to handle, and still keep the intelligence, trainability, and friendliness of the two breeds. Just like that, you have a wonderful family dog that fits easily into most families and is highly trainable.
  • What makes your program special?

My program is designed to shape every aspect of your puppy’s development and to help mold them into the best dog they can be. Many issues that you see in adult dogs are due to a lack of early training in the first 12 weeks. I focus heavily on this critical development period. In these first 12 weeks, we have an almost magical ability to shape their future.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
