I'm Jennifer & Michael S., the breeder behind Our Shepherds Shepherds L.L.C. located in Poteau, OK.   • Why did you start breeding?

    We saw the need in the USA for quality genetics in the Dutch Shepherd, and began to import from top bloodlines that included Ipo 3 international champions and police and military working dogs, these genetics are now in both working and non working homes keeping families safe and proving their genetics in French ring , ipo, psa dock diving, Sar police and personal protection , Ptsd service dogs

  • What makes your program special?

    as K9 trainers we do all the extra foundation work to ensure sound pups we crate train and do early socializing with our kids and other dogs different sounds ect, we run several aptitude tests and evaluations on our pups to ensure a great fitting pup drive wise and temperament wise so your family gets the perfect match we offer puppy foundation classes at pick up & lifelong training support

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include silver brindle and gold brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Jennifer & Michael

Jennifer & Michael has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our deposits are 500 on all litters, deposits are non refundable, Some pups with “ Purchased obedience training do run more , we offer basic & advanced Ob and protection/home defense & more . Our deposit is to hold a puppy out of a litter for the soon to be owners and is separate from puppy price once deposits paid we email your Health guarantee contract.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
