I'm Angie O., the breeder behind Owenby's Corgi's located in Redfield, KS. We hold ourselves to the highest standard when it comes to our dogs and our policies. We take responsible breeding very seriously. Our dogs shine both in and out of the show ring. We are dedicated to improving our lines with each generation so that the breed will continue to thrive for a long time to come.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My Dad raised Labs and German Shorthairs which he used for bird hunting. I have always loved animals and especially playing with the puppies! I was amazed how by how smart Corgi's are and their ability to communicate! We have enjoyed raising Corgi's for 17 years!

  • What makes your program special?

    Some of our Corgi's have the natural bobtail and herding instinct, which is fun! They normally love to play fetch, some of our customers have enjoyed training our corgi's in agility! Some of them are just snuggle buddies.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Angie

Angie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Angie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $1,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC Registration, worm, and vaccination for our puppies. $300.”

Angie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Meeting up with Angie was so exciting and meeting my new puppy for the first time .. Angie had all the documents needed and was extremely helpful about the care and feedings and had just given freedom a baths so he was so cute and fluffy .. she has an extreme amount of knowledge about corgis.. and has been amazing to work with.. freedom has been my third corgi the last two I had for 12 and 14 years so it has been awhile since I have cared for a puppy.. her puppy’s have wonderful temperaments .. she is an excellent breeder..
