I'm Jonathan O., the breeder behind Owensons’ Kennel located in Smryna, GA. I started breeding in 2014 after being introduced by my father in South Florida. After graduating Tuskegee CVM in 2021 and practicing in Las Vegas, I returned to Atlanta in 2024. Today, I combine veterinary expertise and over a decade of experience to raise AKC Yorkies and French Bulldogs.

Both girls received their first round of vaccinations and are now being introduced to solid foods as they continue transitioning from mom. 🐾 Their personalities are really starting to shine—playful, curious, and full of confidence as they explore more of the world around them. This stage is always special because you truly begin to see who they’re becoming. My husband and I 100% recommend Dr. Owens and his puppies. Dr. Owens kept us updated 100% of the time, even supplying videos and pictures for our enjoyment of our new little girl, Pippin! I was leery on trying to find a reputable breeder, until my coworker, a speech pathologist, recommended the good dog app due to its wonderful trustworthiness and guaranteed safeness and it being a legitimate site. In no time at all, I found Dr. Owens that had the most beautiful Yorkie babies advertised. I reached out to him, and he was very responsive, while patiently answering all questions that I had. While there are many other Yorkie breeders out there, it meant a lot to me that Dr. Owens is a veterinarian, and he knows the breed very well. His babies are well socialized, clean, spunky, healthy, and he knows exactly what a true Yorkie lover wants. He is well-versed on the different gene profiles of the Yorkie breed. After picking the baby that I wanted, I made secured payment through the good dog app. Dr. Owens kept me updated every step of the way! When it came time to meet and to pick up our sweet little baby girl, Pippin, he made it very convenient and worked around our schedule. He and his partner Larry met me and my husband at a safe and secure agreed-upon place. It was wonderful! The entire meeting was so pleasant and happy! Dr. Owens even included a wonderful and lovingly thought out new baby package that he gave us for Pippen. Thank you, Dr. Owens! She is fitting in so well, and we love her so much.

Jonathan was great! I had so many emotions about buying a puppy because I hadn’t had one in 18 years.
