I'm Julie W., the breeder behind Oxfordshire Goldendoodles located in Fuquay Varina, NC. We strive to produce the best overall family and therapy dogs by health testing our parent dogs as well as incorporating early neurologic stimulation and a modified version of puppy culture. We find so much joy in watching our puppies grow & loving them well in their early days!

What makes your program special?
We put an intentional focus on early neurologic stimulation and a modified version of puppy culture to intentionally socialize these puppies from their first days. Our hope is that the temperaments that we focus on producing will be ideal for the every day family dog or to be further trained as therapy dogs. We especially have a heart for dogs used as therapy for children.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Getting a puppy from Julie
Julie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Julie partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. Puppies are matched once they are old enough for us to evaluation their temperaments and personalities, around 6-7 weeks. ”
Price
“Includes transition food, a blanket with littermate scent, a toy, first round of vaccinations/proper deworming, copies of veterinary records, 30 day pet insurance & a foundation in crate training. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color or size. Deposit is non-refundable except in certain situations which are outlined in our deposit contract.”

Good level
Oxfordshire Goldendoodles reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Goldendoodles.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
