I'm Tara W., the breeder behind Padgetts Hill Puppies located in Natural Bridge, VA. How we raise our puppies at Padgett Hill Pups! We see the difference in our puppies from the amount of love and care our family gives to each puppy. Our puppies are confident, love to be held, socialized, exposed to new sights and sounds, and most importantly we start the foundation of trusting people. We raise our puppies in our home with our 3 daughters. Together we all add something unique to our program.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Bernedoodle puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies include merle, black and tan, brown, blenheim, tri-color, chocolate, red, and apricot. Goldendoodle puppies include apricot, red, chocolate, merle, and parti. Bernedoodle puppies include tri-color and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Tara

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,700 - $3,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), DNA Profile, von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
