I'm Christopher S., the breeder behind Painted Desert Akitas located in Hunt, AZ. Our Akitas up to date on vaccinations, deworming and flea and tick prevention. We raise our puppies in a family atmosphere with their mother, they ween at their own pace. Our Akitas are socialized daily with other dogs, our family and our personal friends.

We fell in love with the Akita breed. We wanted to be able to provide well-bred puppies with great dispositions.What makes your program special?
At Painted Desert Akitas, we strive to produce the highest quality puppies in health and appearance. We keep our Akitas up to date on vaccinations, deworming and flea and tick prevention. Their health and disposition are our ultimate goal.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Christopher
Christopher has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $1,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.
