I'm Edward & Mary P., the breeder behind PaintersPreciousPoodles located in Wentworth, SD. Our puppies are bred for health, personality, therapy, and love! I try very hard to have healthy, happy pups that are well socialized. I get sizes that range from 40-60 bs and phantoms, tri, parti, solids, abstracts, and a wide array of colors ! I work with a great Vet who helps my program excel. I am a member of sioux empire kennel club. I test my parents to or beyond ofa chic standards. All passing scores .

Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with Standard Poodles and decided after a lot of research to proceed with sharing poodles with others who love the breed.What makes your program special?
Our love and attention to my dogs and the pups. And becoming life long friends with the families! Also I incorporate a pay it forward program when I can to make this more than selling puppies. It is our passion and our purpose!!!!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, blue, cafe au lait, cream, silver, silver-beige, parti, phantom, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Animal Genetics Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

We adopted our sweet Jasime (aka Jazzy) from Painter’s Precious Poodles in May 2025. What a beauty she is! Smart, playful, and a little sassy describes her personality. Potty training and crate training were a breeze. Jazzy is everything we hoped for and we love everything about our little Fluff Muffin! Mary was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive to my questions, usually messaging me back within the hour. She was also kind enough to give me her phone number to make our conversations easier. It was obvious that she considers breeding healthy, good tempered, and smart poodles a calling, not just a job. We will be forever grateful to Mary for our Jazzy girl!
