I'm Jana v., the breeder behind Palm Canyon Bernedoodles located in Palm Desert, CA. We strive to raise healthy, confident, calm puppies that are well-socialized to all aspects of life. Pups go home with age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, full health exam and de-wormed. By the time they go home their socialization, crate training and potty training is underway.
Q. & A. with Jana
Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved dogs. My family has asthma and allergies and so we could not have dogs when I was growing up. Later I learned that some dog breeds are non allergenic and low to no shedding. I became interested in breeding these non-allergenic dogs to enable families with allergies to be able to finally have a puppy!
What makes your program special?
We are in it for the love of dogs. It gives us a lot of pleasure to take care of these little peanuts. We are a boutique breeder and breed only one litter a year. We love enriching the traditional bernedoodle colors with new color patterns to produce unique color combinations.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include mini and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, chocolate merle, sable, black and white, tri-color, blue merle, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
