Meet the breeder

I'm Rachel G., the breeder behind Paradise Peaks located in Brush Prairie, WA. Hello, my name is Rachel and I am the owner of Paradise Peaks. We are a little hobby farm specializing in Golden Retrievers, Pugs, Nubian goats and Champaign d' Argent rabbits. We are a homeschool family and we work with our animals here on the farm and showing them at the local county Fair. Goldens have been a part of my life since I was a girl and we've had pugs for the last 20 years. They are wonderful additions, so much so we wanted to be able to offer these amazing companions to others. We genetically test all of our dogs to to make sure we are breeding the healthiest pups we can. We know the value of being able to count on genetics when choosing your next companion. We also work with OFA/ Penn Hip and other testing resources to do our best to breed the healthiest puppies within the breed standard set by the AKC. We are located on a mountain outside of Vancouver in Washington state.

Q. & A. with Rachel

  • Why did you start breeding?

My family bred puppies when I was a kid and I love seeing quality dogs reproducing breed standards that are amazing family additions!
  • What makes your program special?

My kids and I work together with these dogs. There are family pets first, breeders second. I love the responsibility and work my kids put into these litters. It's definitely a family thing!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Pug puppies include black and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Rachel

Rachel has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Rachel partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“We want to ensure the best possible match for our families so we begin matching at 7 weeks after we temperment test the litter. We appreciate your patience with us as we feel this is an important step to achieve the best possible outcomes for both our pups and their forever homes. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“The price depends on breed chosen, papers open or closed. All puppies will come vaccinated, wormed and vet checked. My deposits are only refundable if there is a possible problem with the puppy directly. I can roll the deposit to next expected litter if requested.”
