I'm Ashley H., the breeder behind PARK’s Family Farm located in Hurtsboro, AL. We are committed to health testing our dogs to ensure good genetics & responsible breeding while raising them to fit any purpose be it as family or hunter. Our puppies are well cared for & loved from before birth to when they go home. We want forever homes for them & strive to help any way we can!

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding soon after adding my 1st personal Lab, Ruby, to the family. I started to “nerd out” as some of my family like to say learning about different factors in pedigrees & genetics and what can affect a puppy & shape it into who it will be before it’s even born. Many things come from the hands on training of a puppy & their day to day life but the genetics caught & held my attention.What makes your program special?
Honestly one of the most important parts of our breeding program other than genetics & our selective breeding comes after birth, all of our puppies are raised around our family & our kids are just as much an integral part in our program as the Early Neurological Stimulation & Hunt Scent Exposure we do, they are loud, fun, playful & help the pups burn off energy & learn to have fun with people.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our English Cocker Spaniel puppies include black and white, lemon and white, black, and lemon roan. Basset Hound puppies include black brown and white and lemon and white. Boykin Spaniel puppies include dark brown, chocolate, brown, and liver. Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Ashley has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our price includes current vaccinations, worming, full registration application (NOT the registration fee to be paid to the registry), puppy packet, and of course lifetime help if you have questions. Our deposits are non-refundable & reserve your pup until time to go home. We don’t take deposits until pups are 3wks old. All pups in a litter are the same price no matter color, sex or size.”

Ashley may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Litter update on 17 Nov. •…Just a quick Boykin pupdate until I can get their official pictures uploaded (we have had to impromptu move temporarily this weekend while our house is redone 😅🫣) hopefully I’ll have them up tonight. The Boykin pups all have their eyes open and are already starting to stand up and totter which is absolutely adorable. They have handled the move extremely well, I’m very thankful we do Early Neurological Stimulation because I do believe it helped 👏

Litter update on 07 Nov. •…The Basset babies Fall photos will have you falling for them (had to go with something punny I couldn’t help myself) This week (4) they’re excited when they see me coming with puppy mush! They’ve gotten so playful and are starting to get the Basset Hound look as their ears are growing quickly 😍

About Fey
Fey (pronounced like Faye) is my precious Boykin baby 💚 She is so well behaved and loves swimming and fetching. She has a straight coat with some waves on her ears instead of the extremely curly coat some Boykins get. She has earned her CGC, TKN, FITB, FITS, FTN and FTI titles already with plans to try HydroDash and Dock Diving in the future.

About Lizzie
We were given the joy of adding Lizzie to our family at the end of 2023 and the best part is she is a full sister from a different litter to our girl, Remi. Remi has been thrilled to be able to meet her sister and bond with her which has been the sweetest thing ever 💜 Lizzie has enjoyed learning life on the farm now that she knows what a horse is and especially loves getting to claim the kids as her people. She LOVES going outside and having space to run around and let her nose lead her.

Lily is an absolute joy 🩵 She’s the epitome of a happy want to please you Lab and always excited to just be around people. We added Lily to our family from Rock Branch Retrievers when our trainer and friend told us about her. She is the literal full package from genetics and lineage down to her temperament, she is one really special girl and we are thrilled with her! Lily jumped right in with our other girls and started learning the ropes and earning a few different titles just playing around and we can’t wait to see what else she can do and what she will add to our program, so far she has earned her FITB and TKN titles.

About Sage
Sage started out as my husbands little girl but once we saw her potential for more than just his hunting companion I was able to convince him to let me see just how much she can do 💛 she has ALL the energy and drive. She has repeatedly shown her athleticism and potential as a retriever, Sage LIVES for retrieving and playing and just having something to do that allows her to be involved in any and everything that is going on. She has earned her SHR title and is working towards her HR title as well as having earned her FITB and DS titles. She’s still full of puppy playful and personality and so fun to sit back and watch, if you won’t throw the toy for her she will find a way to do it herself 😂

Sandy is our daughter’s baby 🖤 Kinsley picked Sandy at first sight from Dansby Sporting Dogs. She was exactly what Kinsley was looking for and they’ve been a team ever since. Together they have earned Sandy her CGC, TKN, FTN, FTI, FITB and FITS titles and are working on seeing what else they can excel at when they’re not on the Dove field or snuggled up on the couch.

About Ruby
Ruby is my special girl, I almost gave up on finding the perfect Fox Red Lab and then we found her 🧡 she knows she’s Mom’s girl and gets called my doghter. She has been a sweetheart from the moment we got her and has repeatedly shown her athleticism and potential as a retriever. Ruby has been the driving influence in changing my passion to hunting dogs and genetic research learning how she was passed such good traits and how to ensure those are the traits she passes on. She has earned her SHR title as well as having earned multiple Titles outside of Hunt Tests like most recently her Dock Senior title. She’s just a joy to live and work with and it’s so fun to see what she can do next.

Ashley was amazing the entire journey in bringing home our adorable basset girl Charlie. I could tell from the moment she was home that she was socialized, was worked with and was an amazing representation of the breed.
