I'm Charli F., the breeder behind Patriot Puppies located in Pinehurst, NC. We are a Military family that donates one puppy from each litter to be an emotional support animal, or service/therapy dog to a disabled veteran or first responder family. Our puppies are evaluated at 52 days to determine service/therapy potential and perform temperament testing.
Q. & A. with Charli
Why did you start breeding?
We love the Goldendoodle breed. Seven years ago, we brought home our first Goldendoodle and fell in love with his sweet disposition and calm temperament. He has been my daughter’s therapy dog and has helped her so much. We bought our paw parents as puppies a few years ago and formed our company with the mission to share our love for the breed with others and give back by donating.
What makes your program special?
We operate on a very small scale with just three dogs in our program. We donate one puppy per litter to a disabled veteran or first responder family. Our parents are family pets and have been health tested. We raise our puppies on an advanced service dog curriculum and evaluate the litter at 52 days. Our goal is to match our puppies with their perfect families!
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, black, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
