Breeder of Poodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Laura A., the breeder behind Patriotic Poodles located in Burleson, TX. I love raising and training healthy quality dogs for pets, show, and service dogs for veterans. My dogs make excellent companions! I cherish each of my dogs and puppies, and I do everything I can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. I strive to provide each of my puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

Q. & A. with Laura

  • Why did you start breeding?

My new husband was allergic to dogs, so I purchased a Standard poodle and we have fallen in love with the breed. My dad was a veteran and could have used a service dog. He recently passed before I could train him a pup. I bred and showed Boxers for years, many years ago!
  • What makes your program special?

I purchased a champion sired female and a highly recommended bloodline of all red dogs; the red is very hard to find from all red lines. I have some nice dark reds. I spend a lot of time with my dogs and strive to produce the healthiest, smartest pups for families and individuals to enjoy. All of my dogs will be fully health tested, some I am still in the process of testing ( Have Eyes Left) and all should be completed by December this year!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, blue, cream, red, gray, silver, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
