I'm La Donna K., the breeder behind Patriots Poodles and Doodles located in Fayette, OH. I'm committed to raising healthy, happy puppies that are prepared to be the perfect new family addition. Most of our puppies know their name, can sit/turn/lay down/speak on command and are nearly potty trained by 9 weeks. All with positive reinforcement. They are well socialized and well loved.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We had our first labradoodle and loved that the breed did not shed or have that doggy odor, she was easy to train and eager to please. I also found the experience of our first litter very rewarding. It's impossible to have a bad day when you are surrounded by puppies and it's amazing to watch them grow and learn. Families are amazed that their new puppy arrives with training by 8-9 weeks.

  • What makes your program special?

    In addition to health testing we provide training to each puppy before they go home. You will be amazed when your little 8 week old puppy knows her name and sits on command when you come to pick her up. We spend hours every day correcting behavior (biting,ect) and provide you with the best behaved puppy possible at 9 weeks for an easy transition for everyone.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include caramel, red, gold, apricot, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from La Donna

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and $1,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes "starter training" a large puppy pack with food sample, toys, blanket with litter scent, microchip with paid lifetime registry and access to professional training videos. We begin taking deposits when the puppies are 2 weeks old.”

La Donna may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We recently adopted a puppy from Patriots Poodles and Doodles and couldn't be happier with our decision. It has been an absolute joy having Remi in our lives! La Donna made the entire process seamless even going a step above and beyond by allowing me to ship the airline carry on carrier to her home and getting our new puppy accustomed to spending time in it prior to our trip home. She is extremely knowledgeable about the breed and devotes so much of her time to these puppies to ensure they are well adjusted prior to going to their forever homes, which is apparent by her regular updates and videos she shares. These puppies are raised in her home among her family which I think is one of the many contributing factors to why Remi has been extremely laid back and loving. I can't get over the amazing temperament she has and anyone that has met her, can't believe just how well behaved she is for a puppy. La Donna spent over an hour with me upon my arrival (on a holiday) going over the training she had been working on to ensure it carried over smoothly to our home. She even sent us off with supplies for the trip home which were a great help in the hotel and flight home. She has been available to answer any questions I've had since bringing Remi home and it's reassuring to know she is there if I ever have a question or concern in the future. Remi has not had a single accident since being home and it only took two nights to crate train her to sleep in her crate at night! I am beyond grateful for finding La Donna and having the experience that I did in bringing our puppy home. :)
