Meet the breeder

I'm Jenna F., the breeder behind Pawmetto Goldens located in Summerville, SC. I strive to produce puppies that are happy, healthy, well adjusted, and well-socialized towards the things they will face in everyday life. I have been breeding Golden Retrievers since 2017 and am passionate about providing my puppies with the best possible start using safe socialization and desensitization, the highest quality of care, and innovative early rearing protocols. I take pride in the care, love, and attention I give my puppies and am dedicated to helping you find the perfect addition to your family. My focus over the last few years has been working to better my program so I have been transitioning more towards field line pups from proven, healthy lines. Our field line puppies have fantastic drive and a natural instinct to retrieve while also possessing a great off-switch making them great companions for active homes. Our site has a ton of great info and answers to many questions, check it out! You can find our full application there as well! Pawmettogoldens dot com.

Q. & A. with Jenna

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was introduced to breeding early in life, helping raise Bichon Frise litters while growing up. I welcomed my first Golden Retriever in 2004 and began breeding Goldens in 2017.
  • What makes your program special?

Our puppies are raised in our home with a focus on early development and thoughtful socialization. We use ENS, ESI, and elements of Puppy Culture, with early introductions to crate training and potty habits. Years of hands-on breeding experience guide our intentional approach. I prioritize responsible breeding practices, clear communication, and long-term support for my puppy families. More details are available on our website and social media.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include dark golden and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
