I'm Abby O., the breeder behind Paws 4 Doodles, LLC located in Henrico, VA. I provide my puppies with a safe, clean, & enriching environment. Here they can grow & learn about the world while they prepare for their individual adventures in life with their forever families. I'm passionate about placing each family w/ the perfect puppy for them & hope to stay connected.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I embraced my life long passion for dogs & my desire to help others heal through the magic of puppy breath.

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program stands out amongst others because of the personal attention I give to every detail of the journey. All dogs deserve nothing less than to be cherished, spoiled, and pampered, so I strive to place all my puppies in homes where they will be loved as family members for life.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, and medium sizes. Bernedoodle puppies include tiny, mini, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Goldendoodle puppies include apricot, red, chocolate, phantom, merle, and parti. Bernedoodle puppies include brown and white, brown, red, black and white, tri-color, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Abby

Abby has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Abby partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Our waitlist families select their individual puppy in the order of their reservation spot. Usually selections start happening when the pups start exploring & their personality starts showing around 3-6 weeks old. After our waitlist families finalize their picks we will advertise the unclaimed puppies & place them with applicants. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our fur-babies will be well started w/ Early Neurological Stimulation, Puppy Culture Curriculum & much more. They go to their new hm w/ 1 mo free pet ins, utd vaccinations, & 2 yr health guarantee. The waitlist fee of $250 is due once you are sure you want to purchase from one of my planned litters. Once the litter of your choice is born the deposit balance of $250 is sent to reserve your pup.”

Contract & health guarantee

Abby may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1B), Bernese Mountain Dog Type, Animal Genetics Panel, Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
