Meet the breeder

I'm AJ W., the breeder behind Paylie Springers located in Duncansville, PA. All health testing done such as OFA hips, elbows and eye, PRA testing. I am actively involved in showing my dogs and have over 20 years in the breed. Puppies get socialized from birth, introduced to the grooming table at 4 weeks, clippers, vacuum and as much noise to raise confident puppies. We live on 30 acres so our dogs have plenty of room to run and enjoy.

Q. & A. with AJ

  • Why did you start breeding?

I’ve always loved dogs and after getting married and getting my first puppy someone where I worked suggested I show my puppy. She had a Golden Retriever she bought from a show breeder and her boy was being shown. We had a local puppy match, so I entered and I was hooked. Being surrounded by other dog fanatics made me feel like I found my people!
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program is special because I’m diligently working towards producing better puppies than the generation before. Smart, functional and healthy puppies that are perfect for the families they join.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
