I'm Diane M., the breeder behind Peace Love Havanese located in Woodstock, NY. My goal is to always improve and make the sweetest and most beautiful havanese from health cleared adults. I enjoy participating in AKC Conformation events, we have many champions here. We also enjoy competing in AKC FastCat and Agility.

Why did you start breeding?
Dogs have always been my passion. If you love what you do you will do it with love.What makes your program special?
I love healthy beautiful havanese. My dogs are health tested according to the breed standard and I do additional health testing as well as some DNA testing on the dogs. Assuring our puppy families of the best puppies for many years to come.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white, cream, gold, red, chocolate, silver, black, red sable, red brindle, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“Our puppies are sold as "pet only" and not for breeding or show. If you are looking for show quality then we would need to speak further. All deposits are nonrefundable. You are putting down a deposit to secure a puppy (or future puppy) and investing in my breeding program and practices.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
