Meet the breeder

I'm Ken and Cher B., the breeder behind Peanut Butter Doodles located in Bradenton, FL. Doodles are our passion, and we can't imagine spending our lives without them. We are dedicated to achieving excellence and healthy family pets, and we are always working to further our education so that we can continue to improve our breeding program.

Q. & A. with Ken and Cher

  • Why did you start breeding?

We got into breeding after getting our first two doodles, our Goldendoodle Leila and our Labradoodle Kona. We fell in love with the doodle cross-breed because of these beautiful girls; and we decided we wanted to help make them available to more families. So after a lot of research into doodles and breeding, we had our first litter with Leila.
  • What makes your program special?

We breed and raise our puppies in our home, in a room we have specifically designated as the "Dog House." Once the pups are old enough, we integrate them into our home environment so that they experience everyday life and become part of our dog family. We take pride in the time and effort we put into socializing our puppies with both our family and our other dogs.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include tiny and mini sizes. Goldendoodle puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Bernedoodle puppies include black, black and white, tri-color, and merle. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Pay over time with Klarna.

“This includes: A family-raised, socialized, vet-certified healthy Peanut Butter Doodles puppy of your choice. Pics and other information. Age-appropriate vaccinations, de-worming and vet checks. . Our non-refundable deposits benefit both you and us. Reservation deposits made by people who are just shopping different litters or who are not committed to adopting a puppy from us can make it unfair to others who are serious about adopting one of our puppies. This can give a false sense to serious buyers about when they can get a puppy from us. Also, we spend a great deal of time and effort communicating and working with families that make reservations. Just as your time is valuable to you, so is ours valuable to us. So, if a family decides not to take one of our puppies, we still expect to be compensated for our time and effort; the deposit covers this. Deposits are transferrable. If you are unable to pick a puppy that you want from the current litter (for example, if you want a male puppy and there are only females available when it is your turn to pick) you can transfer the deposit to a future litter. This can be done onto successive litters for up to 12 months from the time you initially elect to make such a transfer.”

Contract & health guarantee

Ken and Cher may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Ken and Cher offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Ken and Cher directly.

Our puppy Susy is the first dog we’ve ever had, so we were very impressed with how knowledgeable and helpful Ken and Cher were with this new process. Everything was seamless from the start, including communications with Ken, getting to meet our puppy, and finally taking her home. We have had no issues with our puppy and her health, and she has brought such a joy to our family. Ken even provided useful tips that we still use today. I would recommend Ken and Cher to anyone that wants the perfect puppy!
