Meet the breeder

I'm Sean M., the breeder behind Pecan Orchard Goldens located in Pearland, TX. Welcome to Pecan Orchard Goldens! I’m Sean, the person behind our program. Our Golden Retrievers are part of our daily lives, and raising their puppies is a personal commitment. I welcome conversations with families, hunters, and people interested in canine sports or breeding. We discuss each puppy’s individual development and your goals honestly, without promising future performance. You can expect current photos and videos, available veterinary and parental health records, clear written agreements, and help preparing for your puppy’s arrival. We offer pickup and mutually agreed meetups, including between the Houston and Austin areas.

Q. & A. with Sean

  • Why did you start breeding?

Helping raise my family’s Chow Chow litters introduced me to the responsibility and care involved in breeding. Koa and Kai’s eleven puppies, born June 28, 2026, are my first AKC-registered litter and the beginning of Pecan Orchard Goldens.
  • What makes your program special?

I built Pecan Orchard Goldens around parent health testing, Early Neurological Stimulation, placement at 12 weeks or later, and full transparency with buyers. I share available health reports—including findings that deserve discussion—and help families understand each puppy’s development before making a commitment.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
