Pennys Goldens

Penny D.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Penny D., the breeder behind Pennys Goldens located in Toledo, OH. As a true lover of Golden Retrievers, I am a small hobby breeder that strives to improve the breed. Many of our dogs have conformation and obedience titles, but more importantly, they are wonderful companions. All our breeding dogs are health tested and all pups are raised in our home.

Q. & A. with Penny

  • Why did you start breeding?

I always wanted to provide families with healthy quality dogs. I love combining my nursing knowledge with dog breeding genetics.
  • What makes your program special?

We are in the box with the pups every day. We sleep next to Mom for the first 2-3 weeks to assure everyone does well. We put our puppies through a nurturing program, and my home resembles a daycare center during their time with us.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
