I'm Becky S., the breeder behind Pepper's Pembrokes located in Cheney, WA. We have developed several protocols to ensure the health and well-being of all of our dogs. It’s our top priority to make sure each of our puppy families welcomes a happy and healthy new family member into their homes!
Q. & A. with Becky
Why did you start breeding?
I always wanted a corgi because I just thought they were cute. I got my first corgi (Pepper) a few years back. She was 4 years old when I got her and I quickly fell in love with the breed. I love their tenacity and their absolute true and fast loyalty and affection for the family. They are smart, athletic and amazing companions. So, I felt compelled to breed them and share the love of the breed with others!
What makes your program special?
I breed for personality and athleticism. My dogs go with me everywhere, including on jogs and cattle drives. They are my babies and they are treated as such. Which means I have an ungodly amount of corgi hair all over my house. I love them and wouldn't have it any other way!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
