I'm Mark & Kim M., the breeder behind Perfect Companion Puppies located in Kimball, MI. Our dogs are bred with a focus on genetics, gentleness, health, intelligence, and socialization. We provide perfect companion puppies for loving families. We invest a lot of time socializing and training our puppies as they grow and develop. Puppies are gently introduced to a myriad of new experiences during their time with us so they will have a smooth transition into your home.

Why did you start breeding?
Our desire to breed high-quality Mini Australian Mountain Doodles, Shih Poos, and Auss-Tzu-Poos (Australian Shihpoo) with good genetics, intelligence, social skills, and health for the perfect companion puppy led us to develop our breeding program.What makes your program special?
We do the research to ensure healthy, well dispositioned, intelligent dogs with the best genetics. All of our puppy's parents are tested and carefully chosen to ensure the best puppies possible. We invest time into a standardized socialization program for every puppy. We implement The Puppy Culture Program in rearing all of our puppies. This requires a lot of time and attention. We offer our adopting parents the enrichment at our home.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies are mini size. Companion Cross puppies are small size. Shihpoo puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Companion Cross puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include black and white, tri-color, phantom, and blue merle. Companion Cross puppies include blue and black and white. Shihpoo puppies include merle, brindle, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Mark & Kim
Mark & Kim has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $3,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes all of the puppy's vaccinations and health screenings, a 2-year health guarantee, and a puppy starter kit. All deposits are non-refundable unless we cannot or choose not to provide a puppy for any reason. Deposits can however be transferred to another liter should the need arise.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Lucy
Lucy is a remarkable dam. Her gentle temperament, intelligence, and nurturing nature make her an ideal mother. Lucy ensures that her puppies are well-cared for and socialized from an early age. Her keen instincts and quick learning ability are traits she passes on to her offspring, making them highly trainable and adaptable. Lucy is known for her exceptional interaction with people. She is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and loves being around humans. Her puppies inherit this sociable nature, making them wonderful companions for families and individuals alike. Lucy's ability to connect with people ensures that her puppies are well-adjusted and confident in various social situations. With Lucy as their mother, these puppies are destined to be not only beautiful but also intelligent, loyal, and loving companions. They are sure to bring joy and companionship to any home. Lucy's puppies do have up to a 50% chance of having increased risk for IVDD (Type I). This does not mean they will ever develop any symptoms but are at risk of developing symptoms. For this reason, the puppies are best for lower stress living environments. Embark geneticists and our veterinarian were consulted regarding this breeding, and they indicated we need not exclude Lucy from breeding as she and her parents have never developed symptoms, and she is otherwise a healthy and well tempered Shih-Poo.

+6Mark and Kim were very responsive and always made sure to keep me in the loop with updates. They were highly knowledgeable about raising puppies and gave a lot of great tips that have helped me with my puppy (with great results!). Yugi came home mostly already potty-trained and followed well. They breed some very smart puppies with large personalities!
