I'm Angela A., the breeder behind Perfect Peace Goldens located in Britton, SD. Perfect Peace Goldens is the fulfillment of a dream. We have been fortunate to be mentored by several wonderful, long time breeders who continue to guide us in our endeavors. Our dogs are an important part of our family's life, just as we had hoped. Our numbers are small, yet the quality is great. We only plan for two or three litters a year to give us the opportunity to fully evaluate, socialize and house raise all of our puppies.
Q. & A. with Angela
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding when I first went to look for a golden retriever years ago. I realized there was such a great need for better education and I wanted to provide people with that. I spent a tremendous amount of time learning before ever even thinking about breeding and eventually, when I felt ready bred my first litter!
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are an important part of our family's life, just as we had hoped. Our numbers are small, yet the quality is great. We only plan for two or three litters a year to give us the opportunity to fully evaluate, socialize and house raise all of our puppies. All of our dogs must pass their clearances before being considered for breeding. For Golden Retrieves, the standard clearances are (but not limited to) hips, elbows, eyes & heart.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
