Q. & A. with Erika
Why did you start breeding?
After years of owning and appreciating their loyalty and eagerness to please, I wanted to share these wonderful traits with others. Living on a ranch provides the perfect environment for raising well-rounded, happy puppies, so it felt like a natural step to start breeding. My goal is to bring healthy, well-socialized puppies into loving homes where they can thrive.
What makes your program special?
Our family ranch provides an exceptional setting for raising well-rounded, happy puppies. With acres of sandhills to explore and plenty of space to run, our dogs enjoy a lifestyle that exposes them to many sights, sounds, smells and experiences. They’re not just confined to a small space; they have the freedom to be active, explore, and learn, which plays a crucial role in their development.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Ember
Meet Ember, the charming AKC Red Abstract Standard Poodle with a splash of white on her chest and toes that makes her look like she’s always dressed for a party. Weighing in at a sleek 40 pounds, she’s a perfect blend of elegance and energy. Ember’s personality is a delightful mix of sweetness and independence—she’s got a mind of her own, but she’s always ready to show off her smarts during training sessions. She’s been genetically health tested and cleared, so you know she’s not just a pretty face, but a healthy, happy pup too.
Ember lives with us on our ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills, where she enjoys the wide-open spaces of country life. Whether she’s chasing us on the 4 wheeler through the pasture with boundless enthusiasm or sprawled out on the couch for a serious nap, Ember has a knack for being both playful and cozily lazy. She’s basically the best of both worlds, always up for an adventure and a cuddle.
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
