I'm Teresa P., the breeder behind Peterson Puppies located in Burnsville, NC. The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others. Our focus is to produce the best dogs of the highest quality so that other families can also enjoy the love of a dog. These dogs have proven to be wonderful companions in our lives. It is a privilege to be able to share that love and friendship with others through responsible breeding.

"Price includes: Puppy. Akc registration application. Age appropriate shots/dewormed. Deposit is non-refundable unless something happens to puppy. At that time it would be buyer’s choice for a refund or pick another available puppy."

Litter update on 30 Dec 2024 •…These gorgeous babies are still looking for a new family! They are 3.5 weeks old now. That have had their 1st deworming. They are starting to munch on some puppy food now. These sweet babies are on the move exploring their area and playing with each other. This is a great litter! Don’t miss out on one of these sweethearts!

Litter update on 30 Dec 2024 •…This whole gang of sweet puppies have found wonderful new homes and we are so excited for the puppies and new families! We do have another litter available that is younger than these babies. So we are still busy with puppies application!

Litter update on 16 Dec 2024 •These little guys are 1.5 weeks old now. Just spending their days sleeping, eatting and snuggling up with each other. They are growing and progressing right on track. This is a great litter of healthy babies!

Litter update on 16 Dec 2024 •This litter of sweet babies are growing and doing wonderful! They turned 3 weeks old over the weekend. Eyes are open and lots of blue eyes shining!! They are beginning to try alittle puppy food and drinking water from a bowl. These are the sweetest little puppies ever!!

Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

When I contacted Teresa about possibly purchasing a puppy she was very responsive. She explained the whole process throughly. After placing a deposit on the puppy she communicated weekly with pictures and how the puppy was progressing. Living in a metro region the prices for puppies are sometimes unrealistically high. But Peterson Puppies prices are very reasonable for the high quantity puppy I purchased. The pickup process of my new puppy was also very easy and enjoyable! I named my new female Siberian Husky puppy Kai. She has been a joy to own but since I take care of my elderly mom raising a larger dog would be a challenge. Since my sisters Siberian Husky of 12 years had recently passed away I let my sister have Kai. Since my sister lives in Rhode Island Kai has throughly enjoyed the record amounts of snow of the 2025-26 winter! It was a wonderful experience working with Teresa and Peterson Puppies! If you want a quality Siberian Husky puppy they are the breeders to contact!

We had such a good experience working with Teresa and Peterson Puppies! They were super responsive and sent updates and pictures every week. Then they made sure to get him safely transferred from North Carolina to Arkansas. Overall, a great experience and Rowan is fitting right in with our white Siberian husky, Aelin. They play all the time and Rowan is so smart and sweet and FUN!!

My wife and I had a great experience with Teresa. When I first contacted her about a puppy she replied back in full detail how her adoption process works. Once we chose our puppy she began sending us updates on her health and vet visits also she sent us pictures every week so we could watch her grow. Teresa responded within 10 minutes every time I had a question. I've learned she has years of experience and would highly recommend her. We've had our pup for 3 weeks now and she's doing great!! ( She's almost 3 months old now )
