I'm Teresa P., the breeder behind Peterson Puppies located in Burnsville, NC. The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others. Our focus is to produce the best dogs of the highest quality so that other families can also enjoy the love of a dog. These dogs have proven to be wonderful companions in our lives. It is a privilege to be able to share that love and friendship with others through responsible breeding.

Teresa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes: Puppy. Akc registration application. Age appropriate shots/dewormed. Deposit is non-refundable unless something happens to puppy. At that time it would be buyer’s choice for a refund or pick another available puppy.”

Litter update on 30 Dec. 2024 •…These gorgeous babies are still looking for a new family! They are 3.5 weeks old now. That have had their 1st deworming. They are starting to munch on some puppy food now. These sweet babies are on the move exploring their area and playing with each other. This is a great litter! Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

Diesel now named Cosmo is home 744 miles from mama, he did so well adjusting to a road trip right after leaving home and he’s pretty good in the car.
