Meet the breeder

I'm Cheryl P., the breeder behind Pettybulls located in Bullard, TX. We have been breeding French Bulldogs for over fifteen years and are so pleased to share our love of Frenchies with you. We are partial to our pieds and black masked reds and fawns, as you will see, but we love them all.

Q. & A. with Cheryl

  • Why did you start breeding?

Pettybulls dates back to 1972 when my husband, Perry, and I brought home a little white bulldog, who we named Sugar. She was the best friend and playmate our 2-year-old son Ben could have ever had. Then about fifteen years ago, we discovered French Bulldogs and we were hooked. At first those big ears were a bit unsettling but it did not take long before I was a Bat Ear Lover.
  • What makes your program special?

We are striving to breed the happiest, healthiest French Bulldogs we can. We have a wonderful relationship with our veterinarians. Together, we are working to ensure your Pettybull puppy is healthy and sound. We prefer the more unusual colors here like our red pieds, red fawns, fawn pieds and brindle pieds. Of course, we do have a few adorable creams and brindle, but pieds are our passion.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brindle and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
