I'm Stacy L., the breeder behind Phoenix's Legacy Great Danes located in Benton Harbor, MI. Our dogs are bred for temperment health and conformation. We do strive to bring easy trainability by providing direction and extensive socializing. Our Great Danes are beloved pets that are family members. We care about our puppy buyers and offer breeder support. All puppies are AKC registered.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always had a passion for animals for as long as I could remember. I mentored for 2 years absorbing information about gentic health testing, breed standard and color testing prior to starting my own own program.
What makes your program special?
I strive to provide puppy culturing and healthy puppies. Puppies that are nurtured make better pets are easy to train.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Stacy
Stacy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes AKC Limited registion Full is available to approved homes only. Puppies receive age appropriate vaccinations and dewormings. They will come with a Health Certificate from a Veterinarian. Socialization and potty training will be started. Deposit may be refundable under special circumstances. Deposit will be returned if something happens to puppy under breeders care. Deposits may be transferable under certain circumstances.”

protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you
both have a clear understanding of the terms of your

Elektra is a female Great Dane almost 3 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Stacy decided to make her part of their program. Stacy has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
