I'm Brenda M., the breeder behind Pine Lane Pembrokes located in Inola, OK. Our corgis are raised in a home environment w/children where they are welcome inside the home as well as having full access to large yards and a kennel area as needed. They do chores with me daily, being exposed to poultry, cats, sheep, cattle and horses. We breed for type, health, & disposition.
Q. & A. with Brenda
Why did you start breeding?
Living on a farm we have had working dogs my entire life. The pembrokes stole my heart & though we do work sheep with some of our dogs, they are also shown in conformation & most are included in our small breeding program which sprang from my love for the breed & my desire to provide others with the best this wonderful breed has to offer. It’s truly a privelage to witness the joy they spread.
What makes your program special?
Our goal at Pine Lane Pembrokes is to produce a puppy whom will be easily transitioned into your home & will live a full healthy life as your companion. All puppies are raised in the home & evaluated for temperament & disposition on a regular basis to best match your family with the perfect puppy. They are started on potty & crate training & come with a limited LIFETIME health guarantee!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn, sable, black and tan, and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Parent dogs
Treasure, mom
Pembroke Welsh Corgi
About Treasure
Treasure, who is a daughter of Jewel & Kracken, is the sweetest most quiet soul on the place. She’s lower drive than many, compliant, and absolutely loves every person she meets. She has a gorgeous coat that tends to shed a bit less than most of my others though, being a corgi, of course she does shed. She is well behaved in public but prefers to stick close to home & doesn’t roam far from the porch. Treasure is sable in color.
Bracken, mom
Pembroke Welsh Corgi
About Bracken
Bracken is a home bred girl sired by Kracken out of Magic. She’s one of those dogs who’s always by your side with no hint of the stubbornness that can sometimes be associated with her breed. She has shown a little drive with the sheep though not equal to that of her siblings & tends to be more quiet natured than most. Her main job is being my grandson’s companion. She adapts well to new situations & has never met a stranger.
Jewel, mom
Pembroke Welsh Corgi
About Jewel
Jewel is a fluffy tricolor. She has been genetically tested and found clear of DM, EIC, & VWD. Her hips are fair and eyes are good. She is an exceptionally sweet natured girl & an absolutely wonderful mother. She gets along well with all the other dogs, cats, chickens, & sheep and she loves children. She’s never “nippy” & is not a barker. In short, she’s simply a joy to be around
Breyerwood Royal Heir “Teddy”, dad
Pembroke Welsh Corgi
About Breyerwood Royal Heir “Teddy”
Meet the new kid on the block here at Pine Lane Pembrokes. We have seen the outstanding quality of Teddy’s offspring & are beyond excited to match him with “Kracken” daughters. The result should be exceptionally gorgeous puppies with temperaments to die for! Teddy is a fluffy carrier so there will be occasional fluffy puppies available from these pairings as well as the traditional coat we all love. Teddy is a very playful boy making him a favorite of my young grandson who runs thorough the acreage with him at every opportunity. Teddy has a very amiable personality being receptive to most everyone he meets both human & otherwise.
Kracken, dad
Pembroke Welsh Corgi
About Kracken
At 9 years young Kracken is the old man of the program. He’s very mellow and sweet and passes that temperament on to most of his puppies though we do have a couple of rowdy ones we’ve held back from him! Due to the exceptional quality, health, and temperament of his offspring we’ve kept several of his daughters back over the years for use in our program & 1 young male we just couldn’t resist keeping back for ourselves. He has produced some beautiful champions in his time with us & could be considered the backbone of our program at this point.
