Q. & A. with Morgan

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our story began when we purchased our first GSD, we were young and did not know to do our research! Turns out, GSDs can come with tons of health complications if not bred responsibly! We had to say good bye to our bestest boy, Nitro, in Jan of 2021. He was just shy of 9yrs old, but suffered severe hip dysplasia and djd. From the day we said goodbye, I knew I wanted to be part of the betterment of the breed! Our dogs are part of the family- they live indoors, join us on our family camping trips, are exercised daily, and just as spoiled as our kids!
  • What makes your program special?

I believe that the GSD breed has been so over taken by back yard breeders, that they have become fearful and unpredictable in daily living situations. I urge you to do your research and find quality lines prior to purchasing a pup. You will have a lifetime of support from Pine State Shepherds when bringing one of our furry babies into your family!
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

German Shepherd puppies include long and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Belgian Tervuren puppies are mahogany and black. German Shepherd puppies include sable, black, bi-color, black and tan, and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
