I'm Jonathan K., the breeder behind Pluperfect located in Kansas City, MO. Our goal is to produce puppies that are capable of participating in sports and conformation, but that are also happy to be companionable, entertaining house dogs that enjoy quieter moments as well. We want our pups to be adaptable and thrive with their families wherever they are.

Why did you start breeding?
I began attending dog shows as a child, then began working for professional handlers as a teenager. I then began breeding show dogs in my early 20's.
What makes your program special?
I focus on breeding the highest quality stock focusing on the breed standard of excellence.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jonathan
Jonathan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Puppies are kept worm free, vaccinated, fed top quality kibble and meat and egg. We spare no expense in our breeding lines, vet care and nutrition. Deposits required and non refundable because we turn away other inquiries once deposit is accepted. Dishonesty on the application will result in the deposit being returned and sale cancelled.”

health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps
protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you
both have a clear understanding of the terms of your

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
