TLDR: Jake and Emma were great to work with and the welcome basket greatly exceeded expectations. Responses were always quick, detailed, and accurate. They are clearly knowledgeable about breeding, training, and pet health. Would highly recommend and if I look for another dog to join our family, they will be my first choice! 10/10. I am impressed with Bears adjustment to moving, overall behavior and responses to new stimuli. Full Story: Crumpet now Bear came to us at 8 weeks old, it has now been 7 days since he came home. He has been fantastically socialized and is minimally responsive to household noises, umbrellas opening, vacuum cleaner, along with fireworks and Kid sounds on the TV. He does a great job taking baths and being handled including inspecting toe beans, opening mouth and allowing reaching inside to remove grass or debris, cleaning ears and eyes gunk ect. He did great at his first vet appointment with us, he was uneasy at first but quickly opened up once he realized there were no shots at this visit. He is very stubborn about coming inside if he still needs to potty, which is an amazing quirk! He will run and play to stimulate himself to finish potting so we can go inside. During a rainstorm he did very well going outside under an umbrella to use the restroom. We are currently working on what he can chew on toy wise, because my arms seem to be the best preference for him. However, he is adjusting very well to the rules of what can be bit. Allowing a few days for crate training in a new location by himself he quickly adjusted to spending time alone in his crate as I do other things around the house. His preference is to be a shadow and help. Which will be great once he is potty trained. In the week since we have had him, he has slept the majority or the whole night three times. Which for his age is impressive and excited for more to come. He does understand the question of if he needs to go outside to potty. He currently knows how to nose boop bells on command. We do this every time we go outside to potty. However, he has not linked the 2 actions just yet. With food lure and hand commands he knows how to Sit, Laydown, High five, Go to Place, and Spin. He understands Come, No and Leave it just not always on the first try. Bear has even made trips in a chest carrier to Kroger and Home Depot (more to come). When at Home Depot we made noises with rocks, metal, wood, screws ect and he was not concerned at all. He even made a few friends while there. He is in the works for public access, and I feel he will do a great job at a young age.

I’ve been searching for the right dog to become my future service dog for months and have been through the wringer with different breeders. Jake and Emma were the polar opposite of all of my worst experiences and I will forever be grateful for the kindness and compassion they have shown me. My new pup Jet is settling in nicely and has the sweetest and calmest temperament showing that he has come from a loving and safe environment. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking to work with a kind, compassionate communicative breeder who loves what they do and shows that through their puppies.

Our sweet boy (Klaus) from Jake and Emma is the perfect addition to our family! He is smart, great with the kids and wonderfully socialized. He has calm periods and fun playful periods and LOVES running around with the kids. He came to us at 15wks already good on a lease and advanced in his housebreaking. We can’t say enough good things about PND Kennel! Highly recommend!
